Septic vs Sewer

As we receive questions, we will attempt to get answers and post them here. Due to time limitations of our volunteers, we will not answer questions that are already covered in the the Septic to Sewer Report.  Click on any question to reveal the answer.
Ask a Question
If we move forward with the sewer, and my septic system fails, would I have to install an advanced system even though the sewer is coming?
It is possible that if a sewer assessment is passed, the Water Quality Control Board would issue a moratorium on the requirement to replace failed septic systems with onsite water treatment systems, but that is not certain.
