This is a special event sponsored by CEPOA with funding from the local Fire Safe Council, and organized by the Neighborhood Emergency Awareness Team. Click the button below for details and to learn how to participate.
The Board of Directors will hold a special meeting on May 4 at 5:30 via Zoom to make progress on some current projects. CEPOA members are welcome to attend; contact any board member for the Zoom link. See draft agenda here.
The Architectural Review Committee (ARC) is in the process of reviewing building plans for the above address. This project is governed by the Los Osos Community Plan. While review by our committee is a requirement of the County’s permitting process, the County is not bound by any decision or recommendation of the ARC and may grant permits and approvals under their provisions.
Of the areas not directly addressed in the Los Osos Community Plan is view preservation. If you have concerns as to view restriction or other aspects of the plans, send your email directly to the Department of Building and Planning at planning@co.slo.ca.us. It would also be helpful if you “cc” the committee at arc@cepoalososos.com. The California Coastal Commission has issued a notice to all interested parties that it will consider a one-year extension of the Coastal Development Permit for 2737 Austin Court. Any objections must be reported by March 12. Read the notice here.
Usually, the CEPOA board meets every other month. However, because there are several items that need attention sooner than April, the board will meet in Zoom on March 1, 5:30 to 6:30 PM. CEPOA members are welcome to audit the meeting. If you wish to do so, write cepoamembership@gmail.com for the Zoom link.
